I have been craving this. Not just the burger :) - a slower pace, quality time with Kyle, and time to just be. In some ways, being forced to stay at home has been an answered prayer. We realize people are hurting and don’t take that lightly, but what a blessing it is to take shelter in a safe home. What a blessing it is to be healthy. What a blessing it is to have access to technology. The blessings we so often take for granted seem to be at the top of our list lately.
I’ve heard a lot of people say, “God hit pause on all of our lives.” And, although there may be truth to that, I think there’s more. I think God wants us to slow down enough to see the beauty of his creation right in front of us. He is everywhere we look; we just have to have eyes to see. So, although the time we are in is heartbreaking and tough to navigate, I hope and pray God gives us eyes to see like he sees.
When you look around today, what is something you are grateful for that you often take for granted?
Love y’all!
Mandy
Well that Burger looks awfully good :) Thank you for your beautiful words. So in answer to your question, the cherry blossom trees are blooming and I am not sure I have ever really noticed their beauty. I am not sure I have ever stopped long enough to really see them.
